I was curious since yesterday
when seemingly cryptic tweets started doing the rounds between Varun Dhawan
and Alia Bhatt. And what was all the buzz and hype about got answered today.
Fox Star Studios and Dharma productions have launched the motion poster for
their latest film Badrinath ki
Dulhania. A shutter going up with Humpty sharma ki dulhania’s poster
on it to give way and reveal the new sequel’s poster is a clever idea. Humpty
Sharma ki dulhania had one of the most eye catching posters with a thin Alia
Bhatt lifting the hero of the movie. But they have definitely topped themselves
with the sequel’s poster, being equally imaginative by using stop motion for a
motion poster for the first time. It’s a very unique idea. Its great that they are experimenting with each first look. It is memorable and has an impact.
Love the fun and
peppy background score too. The background seems to be a fair with colourful pinwheels
and ferris wheels, a burst of colours and lights. Alia is dressed in traditional
outfit, a far cry for her glamourous roles. Varun and Alia make a cute pair and
the film seems to be a youthful, fun, family entertainer. It is being promoted
as a love franchise so should be interesting to see what they have to offer on
10th March 2017.
